Bulls about to take control? Some are willing to bet $1M on it

Balaji Srinivasan, a former CTO of Coinbase is claiming that the US economy is about to experience hyperinflation and that Bitcoin will reach $1 million in the next 90 days.

Apparently, Mr. Srinivasan is so confident that he is also offering to pay $1 million in BTC to the best 1,000 tweets forecasting an imminent financial crisis. "$1000 per tweet, for the best 1000. Reply with your charts, graphs, stats, memes! Bring attention to what is happening! Because the central bank, the banks, and the bank regulators have bankrupted all of us. Let's go!" Srinivasan tweeted.

Coming from a former CTO of a big crypto player, this sounds extremely silly. Not just because it's highly unlikely for BTC to reach $1 million any time soon, but also because it requires a lot more than 1000 tweets to make it happen. The doom porn these guys are peddling is getting out of hand.

Microsoft is working on a crypto wallet for the Edge browser

Microsoft is apparently working on a non-custodial crypto wallet for its web browser Edge. One of the users on Twitter first spotted the feature and shared some screenshots of the wallet, but it's likely only available to Microsoft Edge Dev Channel users.

Microsoft has recently partnered up with Consensys, but it wasn't clear what they were planning to do together. Now, it seems they are working on a crypto swap feature that will allow users to use ETH, UNI, DAI, USDC and USDT. Talk about taking crypto to the mainstream!

Microsoft Edge users might soon be able to access the crypto market without leaving their browser. It's not clear when this feature will be available, but it's likely to be soon. In any case, this is a good development.

DefiLlama team cracks, employee forks own version of platform after token launch disagreement

One of the employees of DefiLlama, 0xngmi, wasn't too happy with the token launch decision taken by the company's founders. He couldn't even wait for 24 hours until the company officially announced their "exciting" airdrop - so he decided to fork the blockchain data platform.

DefiLlama launched a token airdrop as a celebration for its aggregator platform hitting $5 billion in volume. However, it looks like not everyone from the team liked it, and now some team members are left feeling like they need to launch their own version of the platform to stay true to their values. Or maybe there's something else going on, in this space you can never be sure.
