❌ Illuvium's DAO cancels controversial NFT battle between its CEO and 3AC's founder

🥱 Facebook is planning to jump on the chatbot bandwagon

CZ's response to recent media FUD

CZ has replied to a recent FUD coming from the media, saying that they do "not understand the basics of how an exchange works."

Forbes recently posted an article comparing Binance to the bankrupt FTX exchange, to which CZ says is "another FUD" and "baseless." He goes on to say that the report explained Binance users’ withdrawals as “millions of shifted collateral.” However, what Forbes neglected to mention were the deposit transactions, which CZ points out.

It seems comical that the people who praised SBF and FTX, partnered with it numerous times when in reality it a scam now attack the only legit exchange we have left in the space. It's like they're trying to make up for their mistakes by attacking Binance.

CZ mentioned the fact that his Chinese nationality was referenced once again in this article, though he has already denied assertions that his exchange is a Chinese company. Moreover, it's been stated multiple times by the CEO of this exchange that CZ holds Canadian citizenship. He ends by saying, "I am deeply disappointed that Forbes continues to write baseless articles, losing their own credibility."

Illuvium's DAO cancels controversial NFT battle between its CEO and 3AC's founder

The DAO of Illuvium, a blockchain game, put a stop to the much-hyped NFT pack opening event between CEO Kieran Warwick and 3AC founder Su Zhu with a resounding 'no'.

The event was set to be a major draw for both fans of NFTs and influencer culture - but turned into a major fail, as the DAO took ownership of their reputation and made sure nothing suspicious or potentially damaging went ahead.

Illuvium's CEO was supposed to go head-to-head with the controversial 3AC founder in an "Influencer Illuvitars battle", a hype event where influencers compete by opening NFT packs, but the community was quick to voice their concerns over any potential risk or ethical implications that may arise from the event, the DAO of Illuvium then took action and canceled the battle before it could even begin - making sure to keep Zhu and 3AC at a safe distance.

In a perfect world, these people would be held to the same standards of morality and ethics as regular members of society. Unfortunately, such is not always the case - and sometimes it's up to the community itself to ensure that those guys stay away from the things we care about. Good call.

Facebook is planning to jump on the chatbot bandwagon

Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg has revealed that the company is jumping on the chatbot bandwagon, following the success of OpenAI's ChatGPT.

Big surprise! After all, what better way to stay competitive than by copying someone else's success? Microsoft has already added it to its browser Bing, so who knows where facebook might try and work theirs in next - your grandma's newsfeed? Or maybe they'll start showing you ads based on the conversations you have with your AI - the possibilities are endless (and knowing Zucc, probably not as exciting as they sound). Zucc of course mentioned that they're also looking into image and video experiences, but with the chatbot craze being so hot right now, it's no surprise that a chatbot would be the first area they'll tackle.
