Solana's RPC endpoints shut down because of a bug
Seems like Solana is facing some technical issues. This was first reported by a Chinese crypto reporter, Colin Wu. He mentioned that Public RPC endpoints and Mainnet beta Explorer of Solana Foundation are currently offline due to a bug in a test release.
Mainnet beta Explorer and Solana Foundation Public RPC endpoints are currently offline as RPC node software is upgraded, following a bug in test release 1.14. Block production has not been impacted and the Solana network has not been impacted.

RPC endpoints are the nodes that connect decentralized applications and wallets to the blockchain. And this bug primarily impacted nodes run by Solana Foundation. Austin Federa, Head of Strategy & Communications at Solana Foundation released a statement saying that this incident affected only the nodes run by them and won't have any kind of effect on the network or block production.
Solana had a pretty bad 2022, but despite all that happened its native token, SOL, has seen a 37% rise in the past week. Solana owes some of its new activity to Bonk Inu, a new memecoin of all things, which has attracted a lot of attention to the network. It rose by over 1000% in the first week of 2023. But it remains to be seen whether Solana can fully recover from its issues.
OpenSea adds support for Arbitrum Nova Chain
OpenSea, the biggest NFT marketplace in the space, has recently announced the integration of Arbitrum Nova - a Layer 2 blockchain focused on offering low-cost data availability.
This is OpenSea’s second integration with an Offchain Labs product, as back in September 2022 OpenSea added support for Arbitrum. Both Arbitrum and Arbitrum Nova are a great addition to the OpenSea marketplace and can help NFT collectors diversify their collections. OpenSea mentioned that collections on both chains will be grouped together on the Open Sea website under the name "Arbitrum".
We’re excited to now support Arbitrum Nova!
@arbitrum's chain dedicated to social and gaming!🎮We’re also strengthening Nova’s ecosystem by joining the Data Availability Committee (DAC) to provide access to on-chain data and help ensure data accuracy 🤝

OpenSea has been on the forefront of bringing novel blockchain technologies to the NFT space, and this is no exception. Adding more support for Layer 2 technologies would allow users to make more transactions with lower fees, have faster confirmations and better scalability. This means more NFTs being sold, more buyers, and ultimately a bigger market for everyone.
Mastercard announces its artist accelerator program on Polygon
Mastercard has recently announced that it will use the Polygon blockchain to launch its Mastercard Artist Accelerator.
The program is to be used to help musical artists learn how to maximize their brand by minting NFTs, creating an online presence and establishing a community. All in order to integrate into the WEB3 world of the future.
Mastercard said that the accelerator will end with a live-streamed artist showcase, it will also include a limited edition NFT called “The Mastercard Music Pass", which will offer some perks and presumably other tangible awards.
It's clear that Mastercard is hoping to make its mark in the ever-evolving world of crypto while also trying to hop onto the NFT buzz train. But it remains to be seen whether or not this new venture will make a real impact on the crypto world, or just add to Mastercard's bottom line.
